MP3 Player Store

The Mp3 player store is a a fully functioning ecommerce store, with most of the features you would expect of an ecommerce store, except for processing real credit card transactions. Pupils can:

  • Browse the store by product brand and other categories
  • View related product offers (cross-selling)
  • Review and "star-rate" products
  • Add products to a Shopping Basket
  • Register to set up a buyers account (their own email and password required)
  • Go through the check-out process with a mock-credit card (supplied)
  • Log-in as the store owner
  • View and process incoming orders
  • Edit existing products or upload new ones
  • Change prices
  • Set-up special offers or other sales campaigns
  • Print invoices
  • View sales reports

Each participating school has it's own implementation of the store, for use with one cohort of students at any one time. Teachers can reset the store back to it's default content inventory and delete user accounts for the next cohort.
